DrillFlo Tutorial #2– Selecting, Aligning, Rotating & Expanding Formations
This video shows how to select, align, space, scale, and rotate performers. Here’s what it covers.
Select and align performers
Section titled “Select and align performers”- Turn on selection mode. Click the select button on the left toolbar, or press 2.
- Select performers. Click and drag over the performers you want.
- Align them. Use the alignment tools on the right to line performers up by left, center, right, top, middle, or bottom.

Adjust spacing and scale forms
Section titled “Adjust spacing and scale forms”- Spacing: Use the spacing tool at the bottom of the field editor to even out the space between performers. This is handy when you turn a curve into a straight line.
- Expand: To make a form bigger or smaller and keep its proportions, hover over a corner of the selection until the expand icon appears, then drag in or out.

Rotate forms
Section titled “Rotate forms”Select the performers, then hover over a corner of the selection until the rotate cursor appears. Click and drag to spin the form around its center. Use this for pinwheels, gates, and other rotating moves.
