Relabeling and renumbering performers
Each performer has a label letter and a number, like T1 or S4. You can give a group of performers a new label, or change one performer’s number.
Give a group a new label
Section titled “Give a group a new label”-
Select the performers. Press 2 for Select mode and select two or more performers. See Selecting performers.
-
Open Change Symbol. In the menu bar, click Performers, then click Change Symbol. It’s available when two or more performers are selected.
-
Pick the new label. Choose a letter from Performer Label (A through Z).
-
Click Change Symbol. Your performers get the new letter and are numbered after anyone who already has that label. For example, if you already have T1 through T8, the next ones become T9, T10, and so on. You’ll see a message like “Selected performers relabeled to T”, and your selection is cleared.
Renumber one performer
Section titled “Renumber one performer”-
Open the Performers window. In the menu bar, click Performers, then click Performers in the menu that opens.
-
Click the pencil icon. In the performer list at the bottom of the window, find the performer and click the pencil icon (Relabel performer) in the Actions column. Two small boxes appear in the Label column: the letter and the number.
-
Type the new number. The number box is ready for typing. Enter the new number.
-
Press Enter. Your change is saved and you’ll see a “relabeled” message. Press Esc instead to cancel.
- Labels pick instruments. If a performer’s instrument is set to Auto, changing their label changes their instrument in 3D. See Setting performer instruments.
- Labels show on the field. To see letters instead of dots, set Performer symbol style to Letter in Project > Field Settings.
