Choosing a stadium and hash-mark type

Hash marks change how your field looks in the editor and on printed charts. The stadium is what you see around your field in the 3D view. You set both in Field Settings.

  1. Open Field Settings. In the menu bar, click Project, then click Field Settings.

  2. Choose a hash mark type. Under Field markings, pick a Hash mark type that matches the field your ensemble performs on: High School, High School Perfect, College, or Professional. The field updates right away.

  3. Choose a stadium. Under Stadium Venue, pick the stadium you want around your field in 3D, like High School, College, or Professional.

  4. Close the window. Your changes apply right away. Click Close when you’re done.

Hash marks only apply to outdoor football fields, so the Hash mark type menu is turned off for indoor floors. In place of Stadium Venue, you’ll see 3D Venue. It changes how the indoor space looks in 3D. The floor size still comes from Floor / venue type.

  • Switch stadiums in 3D. In the 3D view, use the Venue menu under the camera buttons. It’s the same setting as Stadium Venue. See Viewing a drill in 3D.
  • Quick hash change. Press 1 for Pan mode. The right panel shows Hash Type, with College, High School, and High School Perfect. For Professional, use Field Settings.
  • More field options. See Adjusting field settings for outdoor for endzones and performer symbols.
